“SOS Oceans!” is an interactive exhibition at the Maritime Museum designed especially for young children. The PATAPUM crew — a group of lovable characters — guides little ones on a mission to discover what’s happening to our oceans and how we can help save them. Everything is designed for small hands and curious minds.
The exhibition blends play, hands-on exploration, and discovery. Children can touch, experiment, and actively participate at each station. This isn’t a “look but don’t touch” exhibition — everything here is built for interaction. Marine conservation topics are explained simply and visually, perfect for ages 2 to 5.
The Maritime Museum itself is worth the visit: the historic Royal Shipyards are breathtaking and the building is enormous. After the exhibition, head outside for a walk along Port Vell or pop over to Barceloneta to round off the morning.
