Parc de la Ciutadella
The classic that never lets you down. The boating lake, the mammoth statue, the monumental fountain. In February it's way less crowded than in spring, so you actually get to enjoy it. Kids run, ducks swim, you grab a coffee from the kiosk and life is good for a while.

💡 Parent tip: The playground near the Passeig de Picasso entrance is the best one for under-5s. Bring stale bread for the ducks (not biscuits — bad for them). If it's chilly, there are a couple of cafes on the park corners.
