💡 Parent tip: Free on the first Sunday of each month. It's in the Forum area, so combine it with a beach walk or park visit. Sundays from 3pm are also free.

“Planeta Vida” is the permanent exhibition at Barcelona’s Natural Sciences Museum and it’s brilliant for young children. Taxidermy animals, skeletons, ecosystem models, and interactive zones where little ones can touch, discover, and marvel at nature. Best of all: the museum is in the Forum area, right in our Sant Martí neighbourhood.

For children aged 2 to 5, it’s a wonderfully stimulating experience. The large animals make a big impression — from whales to insects — and the interactive areas are designed for hands-on exploration. It’s not one of those museums where you spend the whole time saying “don’t touch,” which is a huge relief.

The Forum location is perfect for combining with other plans: the beach is right there, there are wide-open parks for running around, and Bosc Urba is a short walk away. It’s one of those go-to plans that works any day of the year, rain or shine.
