Tibidabo is so much more than an amusement park — it’s a magical experience for little ones. The 2026 season kicks off with all the classic rides that have been enchanting Barcelona families for decades. The Airplane, a 1920s plane that soars over the mountain, and the Cuca de Llum, a gorgeous firefly carousel, are absolute favourites with toddlers.
For kids aged 1 to 5, there are plenty of gentle rides that aren’t the least bit scary. The Giradabo, tiny bumper cars, the little train… everything is designed for young children to enjoy at their own pace. Plus, the views of Barcelona from the top are stunning — parents love it just as much as the kids do.
The journey up is an adventure in itself. The Tramvia Blau and funicular make for a perfect addition to the outing. Bring snacks because prices are steep at the top, and don’t forget a jacket — it’s always a few degrees cooler on the mountain.
