Bosc Urbà
★★★★☆
An adventure park with zip lines and hanging bridges on Montjuic. It has a kids' circuit for children from age 3 (and 95cm tall) that's perfect for a first taste of adventure. Little ones wear a harness the entire time and the instructors are very attentive.
💡 Best for: Brave kids aged 3-5 who need adventure and adrenaline
⚠️ Avoid if... Your little one has a fear of heights or gets stressed by harnesses and helmets
💡 Parent tip: Book online — weekends fill up. Bring clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes are mandatory. The mini circuit takes about 30-40 minutes.
Bosc Urba is one of those outings that kids talk about for weeks. It’s a treetop adventure park on Montjuic with zip lines, hanging bridges, nets, and walkways. For kids aged 3-5, they have a children’s circuit adapted to their height and abilities, with a safety harness on at all times.
The experience is great. The instructors are young, patient, and really good with kids. They explain how the harness works, accompany them on the first obstacles, and keep a close eye on everyone throughout. Our 4-year-old was terrified at the start and didn’t want to come down by the end. The mini circuit lasts about 30-40 minutes and the sense of achievement the kids feel when they finish is priceless.
Practical stuff: book online, especially for weekends. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory (no sandals or crocs). Bring clothes that can get dirty. And a heads-up — after the circuit the kids are euphoric but exhausted, so plan something mellow afterwards. There’s a picnic area nearby where you can stop for a snack and let them come down from the adrenaline.
