“Artefacte: Coses i Ombres” is a creative workshop by artist Xavier Bobés at CaixaForum Barcelona. Children experiment with light, shadows, and everyday objects to create small visual stories. It’s an activity that sparks the imagination in a really special way.
The workshop is adapted for children from age 2, with safe materials and a format that hooks even the youngest participants. They don’t need to be little artists — the joy is in discovering how objects transform when you play with light. Toddlers are mesmerised watching their own shadows come to life.
